Tanzania
- - Country of Wild
beauty and nature
Tanzania has more parks and protected land than any other country on
the African continent. It has a rich diversity of wildlife and
ecosystems and is an undisputed ideal destination for a safari
experience. Tanzania is East Africa's largest country and lies just
south of Kenya with the shores of the Indian Ocean on it's eastern
boarder. This beautiful land is diversified with wet tropical
forests, Acacia savanna and open grasslands, mountains and beaches.
Tanzania is home of the world famous Serengeti National Park,
Ngorongoro Crater and Africa's Highest mountain - Mt. Kilimanjaro.
The Capital & Administrative City of Tanzania is Dodoma. The
Commercial Capital is Dar-es-Salaam.
A trip to Tanzania is no longer the colossal undertaking it was in
days gone by. Today's visitors can choose from Safaris taken by
Vehicle, on Foot, on Horse back, by boat or even a hot Air Balloon.
Whichever method you choose, a sightseeing of some of Tanzania's
famous big game animals never fails to fascinate, in form and thrill
even the most cynical of minds.
Tanzania is active in conservation and considers its spectacular and
varied wildlife populations as a national treasure.
Kilimanjaro - rising 19,340 ft above the African Plain truly stands
alone among the mountains of the world. The huge, solitary volcano
is unaccompanied by any mountain chain. Though its size is immense,
it also has one of the worlds most accessible peaks - Uhuru Summit.
